(One of them is actually French, but has been living in the US for a long time).

It was a great pleasure for me to get down to Rome one more time and meet again my good friend and former guest of the podcast, Valérie Jardin, who was leading her second tour in the Eternal City.

This time Valérie was accompanied by that awesome extrovert, Karen Hutton, who I had only got to know virtually before. The personalities of the two and their approaches to photography couldn’t be more different, but taken together they are an explosive bundle of fun. Both are also official Fujifilm X-Photographers and Fujifilm played a big part in supporting them.

We spent two wonderful days exploring Rome together and, right at the end, I asked them to do a very short, impromptu interview that you can watch here below.

And here is Rome, as interpreted by both photographers, each according to their unique style.

I know, I thought of using a title like “An American, a French and an Italian..” but it sounded too much like the beginning of a bad joke 😉

Beautiful photos ! Although your expression, your styles are very different, it seems to me you slightly influence one another, and it’s quite pleasant to see.
