The guest for this week’s episode of the podcast, hosted by Ralph, is British photographer and videographer Peter Ragg.
This is what Peter says about himself:
I studied Art & Design at secondary school and then broadened my education with an Art foundation course here in the UK. This course gave me a better understanding of Photography and Video which inspired me to further my education with an HND in Video Production which I completed in Perth, Scotland. From here I worked my way from small production companies into larger event agencies with a hint of video systems engineering in-between.
Now I work on a freelance basis and I regularly travel nationally and internationally working on large corporate events capturing and producing content. The bulk of my work is video related but I’m always looking for photographic opportunities of any flavour whether it be on the streets of London or in the highlands of Scotland.
Photography will always be a passionate hobby of mine and the skills involved help me tremendously in my day to day video career.
Ralph met Pete on his Vietnam: North to South trip a few years ago and they became fast friends. In learning that Pete is a professional videographer and excellent photographer (see his work below), Ralph asked him to act as a fly on the wall for his Bulgaria scouting trip in 2017, and as such Pete videotaped almost every aspect of this trip and captured some stunning video, both with his Lumix cameras and his DJI Mavic Pro drone.
Duration 55m 07s.
